Product Description

Not quite a brush, not quite a palette knife. Flexible silicone Blades, Mini Blades, Wedges and hard nylon Contours provide maximum opportunities for creativity. Designed for use with heavy-bodied paints, Catalyst is at home with oils, acrylics, and water-miscible oils. Because they are heat-resistant to 230o C, they excel with encaustics. Artists are using them with plaster, clay, gesso application, printmaking, and more. Cleanup is a breeze with Catalyst Tools. The silicone is easy to wipe clean and is solvent resistant. Cleanup in most cases can be done with mild soap and water. Dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface. Catalyst blades can even be separated from their wood handles for cleaning and easily replaced when dry.

Blades are crafted from flexible silicone on paint-brush like wood handles; Shape - Blade Number 4; Size - 15 mm; Colour - Yellow; Handle - Long
More flexible than a palette knife and spreads like a brush; hold more paint than palette knives
Ideal for Medium to heavy body Acrylics, Oil Paints and Heavy Gel Mediums as well as sculpting and modelling ceramics, plaster & clay
Being FDA approved, they are food safe & perfect for food craft & decoration as well
